Dr. Yu is recognized for her leadership of high-quality, high-growth dental businesses, with Incisal Edge Magazine naming her the #8 most influential person in global dentistry in 2023. She has dedicated her career to improving patient access to quality, comprehensive care by elevating the clinicians and support teams that surround her. She’s demonstrated success in doing so from her roots as a chairside dentist, to the launch of her own de novo practices, to her roles as a senior executive in leading dental support organizations (DSOs) and, consequently, brings to Elite a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to DSO leadership at a time of great change and opportunity.

Most recently, Dr. Yu served as the Chief Dental Officer of Walmart Dental, where she led the business to the doubling of its footprint while at the same time spearheading transformative initiatives that enhanced patient satisfaction and boosted profitability. Prior to Walmart Dental, Dr. Yu was instrumental, as the Chief Clinical Officer of Mid-Atlantic Dental Partners [now part of Sonrava], in launching a strong infrastructure to support clinicians in widespread geographies across the U.S., as well as orchestrating the clinical integration of three major dental practices into a single, unified 250-practice DSO.

A key factor in Dr. Yu’s success stems from her “clinician-first” approach, which has consistently translated into elevated patient experiences, operational success, and clinical team growth.
